deBuren, Leopoldstraat 6, 1000 Brussels
Frénk van der Linden
On the 31st May there will be a debate at deBuren on the cultural differences between journalism in Flanders and the Netherlands. The occasion for this is the publication of the book Laten we eerlijk zijn (by L.J. Veen) to celebrate Frénk van der Linden's twenty-five years as an interviewer.
During his career he has interviewed many famous figures from the Low Countries for both the Flemish and the Dutch media. Van der Linden will lead a debate in which participants include Flemish and Dutch editors, commentators and politicians. A few names: Yves Desmet en Hendrik Jan Schoo, Louis Tobback, Benno Barnard, Piet Piryns en Joost Divendal. However, he himself will also be interviewed by Jef Lambrecht!
