The ‘Platform for Secularism in Politics’ (an organisation of MEP’s and NGO’s) states that the religious lobby has too much influence in Brussels. European institutions should seek advice from a wide range of groups, secular and religious, but according to critics only the religious lobby has real political influence.  A debate with, amongst others, Sophie in ‘t Veld (MEP), Paul Cliteur (columnist and jurist at the University of Leiden) and Rik Torfs (CD&V).
