deBuren and BOZAR asked five poets to draw inspiration from one of the paintings in the exhibition The World of Lucas Cranach. Cranach was a contemporary of Dürer and one of the most important European painters of the 16th century. The poems were recorded in three languages and included in the audio guides. During a special nocturne Astrid Lampe, Gwenaëlle Stubbe, Han van der Vegt, Lucienne Stassaert and Stefan Hertmans will recite their poems in the presence of ‘their’ painting.
