The philosophy house Het zoekend hert ° The searching deer in Berchem, will be officially opened in the first weekend of September. The focus will be on the life and struggle of the modern human being, in word and action, from the twenties till tomorrow. The program includes testimonies and philosophical lectures, a guided tour through the neighbourhood, film, music and dance. The Dutch philosopher and novelist Joke J. Hermsen, author of the much appraised Stil de tijd (Silence the time) will give a reading.
