An evening with Herman Koch, who talks about his most recent novels. Herman Koch (Arnhem, 1953) became acknowledged as an author in 1989 with his novel Red ons, Maria Montanelli (Save us, Maria Montanelli). He became famous in The Netherlands as a member of the satirical television programme Jiskefet. His novel Het Diner (The Diner) was published in 2009 and made a sale of 500.000 copies. The successor Zomerhuis met zwembad (2011) (Summerhouse with swimming pool) has sold 250.000 prints already.
