The beginning of a new year is always accompanied by good resolutions. It is the time to ponder over what is and what is to come.  Where do we stand? Where are we heading? As of 2010, music theatre LOD and baroque orchestra B’Rock will produce the hybrid Lecture Songs every year, in which music and discourse coalesce into an alternative New Year’s concert. For the first edition Jean Paul van Bendegem wrote a New Year’s speech.
