The National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa, is one of the biggest arts festivals in the world. This year's festival will be held from 2 to 11 July and, in collaboration with the festival, five Radio books will be recorded in Grahamstown. The stories will be recorded in English and in the autumn will be translated and recorded in Dutch and also published on www.radioboeken.eu. as well as elsewhere. All the writers are from South Africa, and they are James Cairns, Kurt Egelhof, Niq Mhlongo, Brink Scholtz and Philippa Yaa de Villiers.
