Every year the 28th of January is European Privacy Day. All over the world debates are organized about Facebook, minicomputers, electronic listening devices and privacy protection. Between the 25th and the 27th of January around 400 scientists, NGO's and professionals debate on topics like geolocation, social network sites, e-identity, surveillance in the working environment, reliability and communication of personal privacy and data protection.
