Jeroen Roppe grew up in Hasselt. In 1991 he came to Brussels to study and hasn't left since. After completing his studies in Germanic Languages he started working for the Studio Brussel radio channel. With his experience as an editor, presenter, producer and style coordinator, he was given the chance to combine all his great passions as a programme director for the city's radio station, FM Brussel, in 2003. He is now general manager and editor-in-chief of this very popular broadcasting station. Roppe lived in the Leopoldwijk for many years but recently moved to Schaarbeek.
