Professor Winand Callewaert studied for six years at three Indian universities and visited the country over fifty times for long and short research-related periods. Until 2008 he taught Hinduism and Sanskrit at the Catholic University of Leuven. He breaths life into the story of Mahabharata, a religious and philosophical epos from India, and in doing so he teaches us the fundamental principles of Hinduism.
In collaboration with deBuren and HETPALEIS in view of the play De blinde koning of de Mahabharata door de ogen van een blinde (The blind king or the Mahabharata through the eyes of a blind man) with amongst others Dimitri Leue, Pieter Embrechts and Warre Borgmans.
