deBuren

150 years after the publication of Max Havelaar and 50 years after the independence of Congo, deBuren, in collaboration with the Multatuli Society, organises ‘Dear Multatuli, ...’, the Year of Multatuli 2010. The Dutch author Christiaan Weijts gives the third Multatuli lecture. In this ‘epistolary lecture’ he consults Multatuli on a current social issue which is related to present-day multicultural society. After his lecture he will enter into a debate with Tjeerd Bijman (Metropolis).
