The theatre programme of HETPALEIS is the starting point for a new series of lectures. With the play Apenverdriet (monkey sorrow), Arne Sierens tells a story about two girls, united in incapacity, pain and fear. Both are filled with anger and aggression, but in finding each other they can heal their wounds. Arne Sierens knows perfectly how to translate faded Flemish heroism on stage. Discover with us his sources of inspiration and the creative process underlying his works of art.
