deBuren univerCity
deBuren univerCity is a project that gives students the opportunity to learn about interesting topics and meet fascinating guests, not just during evening activities in Dutch and Flemish cities but also on the digital meeting platform uSpace, which was created together with The University of Sheffield. Fifty enthusiastic students signed up last year and in the spring of 2010 they attended lectures and debates about migration and Multatuli. The students wined and dined with the speakers before each activity. As a result of this success, deBuren will continue deBuren univerCity in 2010/2011.
Call
deBuren invites every student in higher education in Flanders to sign up for the new edition of deBuren univerCity. Send an email with CV and a short motivation to willem[a]deburen.eu. You can apply as of the 1st of September, until the 21st of November. Just like last year, there will be two meetings with Dutch students. deBuren presents the entire program, including the meals and the trip to The Netherlands, free of charge.
Programme
